Please stop by and see Sophia! She made it on Pug-A-Day!

I submitted her photo quite awhile ago, after seeing

Bernadette thought today was the perfect day to wear her lovely gifts from blythou and take a winter stroll.
Tempe loves her Puppy Love outfit! Thank you, Chun!

Today, Al was cleaning the kitchen and that motivated me to clean around the house. Al added a board on a hinge to cover up the wires that were exposed on the one side of my desk. So, I no longer have to use a baby gate to keep Sophia away from them. This means my indoor photo spot isn't inaccessible any longer, thus the new photos of Tempe. :-)

I entered Sophia Maria in a photo contest. It's the Kentuckiana Pug Rescue Calendar Contest. If you'd like to vote for her...votes are $1 each, but there is a minimum of 3 votes per time you vote. I also entered a photo of Bella and Samson, but I am really hoping Sophia Maria makes it in the calendar. Here is the photo I entered.

Thank you, Lisa loou of Drop Dead Crochet for the super cute lati hats!...and you are so sweet not to leave Tempe out of the fun. :> The girls were also excited to wear their short sets by Cindy

I took Georgie's eyes out today. I'm having fits trying to get them back in so that they look right. For now, I've given up. Maybe after I take a break, I'll be able to do it. Right now, I'm so frustrated and stressed.

I've named her Georgie. It was my round about way of naming her after Kyra Sedgwick's character, Brenda Leigh, on the television show, The Closer. On the show, Brenda's trademark is her "honeyed Georgia cadence" and her catch phrase is "Thank you; thank you so much." Plus, Georgie is just such a cheery name for a very cheery girl.

Reggie's hair got chopped. I was scared to do it, at first. But, it's still extra soft and fun to scrunch. Reggie found some forgotten goodies in a pants' pocket and shared with Ronald.

I got the lati girls all dressed up, went outside on the porch to take photos, and got interrupted a gazillion times with phone calls from kids wanting this or that. In the end, I ran out of light and had to photoshop these few pics like crazy because they were so cute that I couldn't bring myself to trash them. I'll retake the story photos tomorrow. Ooooh...and Coco will tell everyone her name tomorrow too. ;P

Reggie has beautiful, soft, new mohair and he even has a real part now. I loved the way his original mohair looked, but it had to be redone. The original mohair was disintegrating. eeep. The new hair is much curlier and really poofy. Hopefully, Reggie will soon have a large collection of hats that will solve the problem of "poof."

Reggie met Ronald today. Ronald is visiting. He is Rebecca's (glamourfae) boy. I think they are going to have fun together.

I am so busy. We are putting a new roof on our garage. Well, of course, Al and Phil are doing the majority of the work. But, I'm staying outside to help with clean up and running errands. I've got lots of nature shots to go through and upload too. That will have to wait, because I've got to get back outside.
Ronald is visiting and got very bored yesterday. Luckily, Millie came to the rescue.

Earl returned home with a visitor. Rebecca's boy, Ronald, is staying with us for awhile and we hope to show him a good time. We didn't seem to get off to the best start today, but I think things will turn around soon.

Yes, I'm obsessed with bugs and birds and creatures right now. This beetle was quite the acrobat. I just watched in amazement as he climbed along a thin blade of grass, dangling from the very end, seeming sure to fall, but always catching himself. And then there was the beetle pyramid games going on in the daisies. I feel really terrible because we ended up having to dust with a bug killer to get rid of the beetles. It was almost unbelievable to me how they multiplied by the hours until my entire daisy bed was covered with them and they started covering my other flowers as well. They do a lot of damage in a short amount of time too.

Today, Al and I went to lots of yard sales. I got a stack of magazines from the 60s and 70s for free. I need to scan some of my favorite pages. I also bought a children's book that is in Japanese. It's about a mouse and I love the illustrations. I got 3 pair of jeans and a little black dress at the goodwill. We got there 5 minutes before they closed, so I want to go back tomorrow to look at blouses and jewelry.
